Delete your Pictefor account

How to request deletion of your account

1. Send an email to support@pictefor.com from the email address registered to your Pictefor account.
2. Use the subject line Delete my Pictefor account. No other details are required.
3. We confirm the request by replying to that address, then delete the account. Deletion completes within 30 days.

If you belong to an organization workspace, the data belonging to that organization is controlled by its owner. We will delete your personal account and your own content, and direct organization-wide requests to the owner.

What is deleted

• Your account and sign-in credentials.
• Your name, email address and organization membership.
• Transcripts and recordings sent from the mobile app, and any photos, videos or documents still held in your inbox.
• Datasets and extraction results synced to your workspace.
• Device sessions and your usage history.

What is kept, and for how long

• Billing and tax records, held by our payment processor Paddle for the period required by law, typically up to 10 years. These cannot be deleted on request.
• Backups may retain copies for up to 90 days before they expire, after which the data is gone.
• Audio you send for transcription is never stored beyond processing, so there is nothing to delete.
• Recordings kept on your phone are stored only on your device. Delete them in the app, or uninstall the app, to remove them.
